iTerm2 Inline Images

Category: extensions · Tags: Operating System Commands (OSC)

iTerm2's inline image protocol uses OSC 1337 ; File= to display images directly in the terminal. The image data is base64-encoded and transmitted inline. Supported by iTerm2, WezTerm, mintty, and several other terminals.
How this is tested: Send OSC 1337 ; File=inline=1 with a small base64 image, verify terminal accepts the sequence.
